Dr. Hennings  DMD

Dr. Hennings was born and raised in a small rural community in northeastern Saskatchewan and studied dentistry at the University of Saskatchewan.  While Dr. Hennings has done a lot of work repairing and restoring damaged teeth, he was always driven by the belief that prevention was the cornerstone to good health care.  Dr. Hennings also realized that dentistry does not exist in isolation within the field of health care.  Instead, there is a strong connection between dental infections and many other diseases.   Also, many non dental problems can make dental health worse.  All of this is very central to how we practice dentistry today.

Cara-Lee Bogner

Born and raised in Calgary, Cara-Lee first joined Dr Hennings in 1988 and chair-side assisted him for 17 wonderful years. With 20 years of health care experience and two grown children, she embarked on a career in aviation. After travelling the world and due to a global pandemic, she embraced her passion for patient care and returned to the dental community.

When not in the office, Cara-Lee spends her spare time in Kelowna with family and friends. She is an avid hiker, runner, skier and huge Bon Jovi fan.

Kelsi Prince RDH

Kelsi is an avid sports fan and loves camping/fishing. Kelsi is really into health and wellness and believes that all starts with taking care of the mouth and teeth. Kelsi loves her patients and works hard to give compassionate and thorough care.

She completed her 2yr hygienist program in Ontario. Dallas is very passionate and detailed oriented about her work. When she is not being a hygienist, she assists Dr. Henning’s chairside when needed. She is a real assist to our team here at Canada Place Dental.

Dallas enjoys hiking, camping and anything outdoors. She also has a passion for baking as well. She enjoys spending time with her husband (Chad) and their German Shepard (Thunder). Both are looking forward to their new chapter in life as being new parents.

Laura Molvik-Kopec

Born and raised in Calgary. Laura spent most of her adult life working as an administrator with the Royal Bank. A career that took her to live abroad at several locations. Laura has a large family in Calgary and shortly after her return home, she married Dr Perry Kopec. Laura joined our team as an office coordinator in 2017 and her client skills and professionalism have been a tremendous asset to our team.

With 2 grown girls away from home, Laura and Perry reside just outside Calgary where they enjoy a quiet life together. When they do get away from the busy office life, they enjoy golfing, traveling and spending time at their cabin in the Shuswap.

Sheel Pallana

Born in Nairobi, Kenya. Sheel grew up in Kirkland WA and is an avid Seattle Seahawks fan. Sheel babysat for the Quarterback from 88-92 which was an exciting and memorable experience. She moved to Vancouver after graduating high school and helped out in her cousin’s dental practice as an assistant. She soon realized her passion for dentistry and veered off to another practice as an administrator for over 16 years. Her family, including her 2 adorable nieces brought her to Calgary where she joined Canada Place Dental in 1998. Working mostly with Dr Kopec as an Administrator she does help out Dr Hennings as needed. She is a true asset with her experience and professionalism.

Sheel likes spending time with her family/friends and enjoys reading and anything to do with the outdoors.

Heather Lynch RDA (aka “the Boss”)

Heather was born and raised in New Brunswick and took the Dental Assisting Program at Holland College on Prince Edward Island. It didn’t take her long to find her way out west and eventually meeting up with Dr Kopec. She now has been on the Kopec team which later merged into Canada Place Dental, a time span of 25+ years. While she officially is a Registered Dental Assistant she really is that special person that does everything in the office and does it well. Every team either has a person like this or wishes they did. She has run the front end, the back end, sterilization, coordinated inventory and brought good organizational skills to all parts of the office. We truly don’t know what we would do without her. Dr Hennings has the privilege of working with her when needed.

When she finishes her kind and caring service to our patient’s she returns to her equally well run home. In her spare time, she likes to read, play piano and hang out with her 2 teenage boys.
