Dr. Hennings DMD
Dr. Hennings was born and raised in a small rural community in northeastern Saskatchewan and studied dentistry at the University of Saskatchewan. While Dr. Hennings has done a lot of work repairing and restoring damaged teeth, he was always driven by the belief that prevention was the cornerstone to good health care. Dr. Hennings also realized that dentistry does not exist in isolation within the field of health care. Instead, there is a strong connection between dental infections and many other diseases. Also, many non dental problems can make dental health worse. All of this is very central to how we practice dentistry today.
Lori is from Calgary. She is a dental assistant and has been working with Dr. Hennings for seven years. Her main responsibilities include assisting Dr. Hennings with all procedures, and ensuring everything runs smoothly in the operatory. Sterilization is also one of her main responsibilities.
She enjoys spending time with friends and family. She enjoys movies both at home and at the theatre. Lori also enjoys and excels at cooking.
Kelsi graduated from her dental hygiene program in May 2005 at Texas State Technical College in Harlingen, Texas. She is from Lethbridge originally and has resided and worked in Calgary since August 2005. Kelsi prides herself on being really thorough, yet a very gentle and compassionate dental hygienist. She grew up surrounded by the dental industry as her parents own a busy dental laboratory in Lethbridge. She worked with them as a teenager and a young adult. She loves everything dental, but has a special knowledge and love for dental hygiene.
Kelsi loves the outdoors and in her spare time she often goes camping and fishing, as well as golfing and snowboarding. She also likes all different types of music, especially live concerts and enjoys playing the drums herself. Family comes first in Kelsi’s life and she says she wouldn’t be the person she is today without the support and strength of her wonderful parents and sibling behind her.
